In the morning session of Radio 89,5 fm of the Church of Greece of Thursday, September 30, 2010, spoke His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem Mr. Theophilus the Third.

His Beatitude with reference to the role of religions in the Middle East said: "Today is understood by all, politicians, diplomats, etc., the importance and role of religious leadership in the peaceful coexistence of people. For this reason, all religious leaders are invited to actively participate in any negotiations or dialogue. Their contribution is necessary and don't find it odd in the long run if you see political and international authorities resort to religious leaders to find a viable solution regarding the issue of Jerusalem. As long as the issue of Jerusalem is resolved, all the other issues of regional and global problems will be also solved, because the global crisis was initiated from Jerusalem. So if it is possible in the future for peace to prevail globally, this will depend on Jerusalem. "
